This document discusses system configuration issues related to the use of the Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility for the Intel® 810 chipset family, the Intel® 815 chipset family, the Intel® 820 chipset family, the Intel® 830 chipset family, the Intel® 840 chipset, the Intel® 845 chipset family, the Intel® 850 chipset family, the Intel® 860 chipset, and the Intel® Application Accelerator for Windows* XP, Windows* Me, Windows* 98, Windows* 2000, and Windows NT* 4.0.
The issues discussed in this guide are only relevant to systems using a supported Intel chipset and Windows* XP, Windows Millennium Edition (Me), Windows* 98 Second Edition (SE), Windows* 98, Windows* 2000, or Windows NT* 4.0 (any Service Pack). The Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility and the Intel Application Accelerator does NOT support Beta or pre-released versions of Windows* operating systems.
