If your system includes an Intel® Turbo Memory module, complete the below steps to enable Intel® Turbo Memory.
Note: If Intel® Turbo Memory is not shown in the Start menu, you will need to install the Intel® Turbo Memory software package. The installer should enable the necessary features for you.
- Click on Start » All Programs.
- Find the Intel® Turbo Memory program group.
- Select Intel® Turbo Memory Console.
- Select Continue when you see a Microsoft Windows* prompt that says: "A program needs your permission to continue. If you started this program, continue."
- Select Enable Windows ReadyBoost1.
- Select Enable Windows ReadyDrive2.
- Reboot the system.
1 If the Intel® Turbo Memory module is 512MB, only Microsoft Windows ReadyDrive* is supported; you will not be able to enable Microsoft Windows ReadyBoost*.
2 If the system has an Intel® 82801IR I/O Controller Hub (ICH9R), Microsoft Windows ReadyDrive is not supported.
