Solution:
The Intel® Ultra ATA Storage Driver will not work with the following Intel® chipsets: 440BX/LX/EX/GX/FX 430FX/VX/HX/TX. In most cases, the recommended IDE driver to use with these chipsets comes with Windows*. DMA should be enabled after installing Windows with the native IDE drivers. Instructions on enabling DMA using the native Microsoft* drivers are available from Microsoft*:
If you are using Windows* 95 retail or OSR1, you can use the Intel® Bus Master IDE driver. The Intel Bus Master IDE driver supports a maximum transfer mode of Ultra ATA/33 and is no longer updated.
