Note: The Intel® Ultra ATA Storage Driver has been replaced with the Intel Application Accelerator. We recommend that you consider using the Intel Application Accelerator moving forward.
You should be able to install the Intel Application Accelerator over the Intel Ultra ATA Storage Driver or if you chose, you can uninstall the Intel Ultra ATA Storage Driver and then install the Intel Application Accelerator. Either of these installation methods should work correctly.

Intel is announcing the discontinuation of interactive support for the Intel® Ultra ATA Storage Driver. This means that Intel will no longer provide interactive support via e-mail or telephone. Both phone and e-mail support will be discontinued beginning on Thursday August 15, 2002. Intel will continue to post material for this driver on the product Web site.
