Crosstalk Communicator Setup For Intel 2400 V.42BIS Modems
The Intel 2400 V.42bis Modems ship with a version of Crosstalk Communicator in the box. These products are very compatible.
Unfortunately, current versions of Crosstalk Communicator don't list the Intel 2400 V.42bis Modems in its Setup section. Select "SatisFAXtion V.42bis" as the modem to use when setting up an Intel 2400 V.42bis modem (this setup string correctly gets the software and hardware working together for this modem). Configuring DCA'S Off-The-Shelf Crosstalk Communicator
The Intel version of Crosstalk Communicator contains setup selections for all Intel modems. The off-the-shelf version from DCA must be configured specially for your modem. The first table shows the settings that are different from modem to modem. The second table shows settings that are the same for all Intel modems.
