When a system with the Intel® 810 chipset family or Intel® 815 chipset family graphics drivers is upgraded to Microsoft* Windows* XP, in some cases the Windows XP Upgrade Advisor* may report that "Intel® Graphics Technology (in Control Panel)" does not support Windows XP. The full details report indicates that the user should upgrade this item prior to installing Windows XP. This issue only occurs when upgrading from Windows* 98, Windows* 98 SE, or Windows* Me.
Since graphics drivers are specific to the particular operating system that is currently installed, the graphics drivers cannot be upgraded prior to installing Windows XP.
