Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller
On some systems, the Add/Remove feature in Control Panel does not work.

Symptom(s):
On some systems, the Add/Remove feature in Control Panel does not workNothing happens when the Add/Remove button is clicked.

Solution:

This is a known issue with graphics driver PV11.0.2.1. To do a clean reinstall of the graphics drivers, simply perform one of the following:

In Windows* 98SE/Me:

  1. In Display Properties, change the display adapter type to standard VGA.
  2. Reboot.
  3. Install the graphics drivers according to the instructions in the readme file.
In Windows 2000/XP:
  1. Reinstall the driver over the existing installation. An upgrade will automatically be performed.
