Symptom(s):

When running Thief - Deadly Shadows* game, it displays a black screen immediately.

If the user clicks the "Check Graphics Card" button, the following message is shown: "PROBLEM: This computer's graphics card does not claim to support pixel shaders. If you are certain the graphics card supports pixel shaders, try installing newer drivers."

If the user switches to the desktop, the message appears: "Flesh failed to initialize! Please check that you:

1. Have a supported video card.
2. Have current video drivers.
3. Have all required shader files.
4. Have all required texture data.

Cause:

The game requires a graphics adapter with hardware pixel shader support to run.  This is not a supported hardware feature of these products.

Solution:

This game requires features that are not currently implemented by the referenced graphics hardware.
