Symptom(s):
Microsoft* Train Simulator game crashes when snow is enabled.
Cause:
There is an issue with how the game implements clipping.
Solution:
The following steps can be used to eliminate or minimize the issue(s) reported with the game:
- Click Start, Programs, point to Microsoft Games
- Point to Train Simulator
- Click "Train Simulator Troubleshooter"
- Click Troubleshooting
- Click the checkbox next to "Snow causes game to crash or does not display"
- The game should now run with snow enabled
