Symptom(s):

Error: "M3 has caused an error in M3.EXE."

Solution:
Download the 1.2 or later patch ^† for the game. After installing this patch, you can run the game in software mode. The game will not run in hardware accelerated mode on the Intel® 810/815 chipset families because the integrated graphics controller of these chipsets does not support 32-bit color depth.
