Symptom(s):
One of the following error message is shown:
Error: "An error occurred while trying to initialize the display. Please check that your video drivers are installed properly and then go to the Engine Options dialog to select a valid display mode".
Error: "Fellowship has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL. Fellowship will now close."
In the configuration applet, no display modes are listed.
Cause:
The game requires 32-bit color support. The Intel(R) 82810 and 82815 graphics controllers support a maximum of 24-bit color depth in 2D and 16-bit color depth in 3D.
Solution:
This game requires features that are not currently implemented by the referenced graphics hardware. To determine which graphics features are implemented on a particular graphics platform, refer to the product datasheet on http://developer.intel.com/.
