CD-ROM Drive Installation Instructions

  1. From a networked computer with a CD-ROM drive, create a share to the CD-ROM drive.
    • Select the My Computer icon, right-click the CD-ROM drive, and click Sharing.
    • If Sharing is not listed on the popup menu:
      • Open Network in the Control Panel.
      • Click the File and Print Sharing button.
      • Select the option to give others access to your files.

  2. For the networked computer that doesn't have a CD-ROM drive:
    • Map a drive to the shared CD-ROM.
      • Open Network Neighborhood.
      • Browse to the computer with the shared CD-ROM.
      • Right-click CD-ROM.
      • Click Map Network Drive.

  3. Browse to the mapped CD-ROM drive and run SETUP.EXE.
