Error #10011: "There was an error when attempting to play an AVI file. Please exit any applications, create additional free space on your hard drive and relaunch Fun Fair."
This error may occur when you start the Fun Fair™ software. It is caused if any of the following codecs are not properly installed or is corrupt:
- Microsoft*RLE Codec
- Microsoft* PCM Converter
- Indeo* Video R3.2 Codec
- Cinepac* Codec
You can solve this problem by reinstalling the Windows* Video codecs:
- From the Windows Start menu, choose Settings, then Control Panel.
- Double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
- Click the Windows Setup tab.
- Scroll down the list of components to the Multimedia category and make sure that the Multimedia component is checked and highlighted, and then under the Description section, click Details.
- Scroll through the list of multimedia components and click the Video Compression option and the Audio Compression option to remove both checks. (If there currently are no checks in the boxes, skip to Step 9 below.)
- Click OK twice.
- Double-click on Add/Remove Programs again and click on the Windows Setup tab.
- In the components list, click the Video Compression option and the Audio Compression option to add a check to each.
- Click OK twice. You may be asked to insert your Windows* installation CD.
- Shut down and restart your computer.
