Symptom(s):
- Error: "Due to limitations in the currently selected sound device, all sounds are disabled in Live Mode. Try updating your sound card drivers."
- Cannot hear any sound effects in the software
Cause:
Older sound card drivers may not work properly with the software sound effects in the Intel® Play™ Digital Movie Creator application.
Solution:
This issue may be resolved by doing the following:
1) Install the latest drivers for your computer's sound card. Check with your sound card manufacturer or system manufacturer whether an updated driver is available for your sound card. Latest drivers are usually downloadable from their web site.
2) Restart your computer and run the Intel® Play™ Digital Movie Creator application again. Sounds should now work.
