Use floppy disks or a ZIP* drive to back up any critical data on your hard drive that you cannot afford to lose. This process over-installs your existing version of Windows, and normally will not cause problems with the existing files or programs on your computer. But it is important to make backups of any irreplaceable data, just in case something goes wrong during the re-installation process.
Insert the Windows* installation CD-ROM and browse to the Setup program. Run the Setup program and follow the instructions on the screen. You may need to reinstall some software applications after completing this process.
Re-install the Intel® Play QX3 Computer Microscope software.
