Why does my Intel(R) Desktop Board D850MV have an SE on the end?

The "SE" designation in the product code of your Intel® Desktop Board D850MVSE denotes USB 2.0 capability. Other members of this product family such as the Intel® Desktop Board D850MV and Intel® Desktop Board D850MVL provide USB 1.1 support only.

There are a total of 5 USB 2.0 ports available on the Intel® Desktop Board D850MVSE, they include:

  • (2) Ports from the rear I/O panel
  • (2) Ports from the front USB header
  • (1) Port from through the CNR (Communication Network Riser) connector
