On some Intel® Desktop Boards, RHEL* 5 installation will not detect IDE optical drive. The issue occurs when the system has Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drives and a PATA (IDE) optical drive.
To work around this problem, use a SATA or external USB optical drive.
