To disable chassis intrusion on the Intel® R440LX Server Board, move the chassis intrusion detection jumper from its default position of 9-10 to position 10-11. By default, chassis intrusion is enabled. It should be disabled when integrating the R440LX server baseboard into a chassis that does not have a chassis intrusion sensor. The Intel® Columbus II Server Chassis does contain a chassis intrusion sensor.
