The Intel® R440LX Server Baseboard has four dual in-line memory module (DIMM) sockets which support up to 512 MB of SDRAM. The BIOS will automatically detect the memory type, size, and speed. The following memory features are supported:
- 168-pin DIMMs with gold-plated contacts
- Unbuffered 66MHz 72 bit with ECC SDRAM DIMMs
- 3.3v memory only
- Single or double-sided DIMMs
Intel requires strict guidelines to be met before a DIMM vendor is put onto this tested memory list, which includes a description of the testing levels.
