The Intel® server system SR1530HAH hotswap backplane contains LED indicators for each of the three Hard Disk Drives (HDD's) that may be installed in the system. These LED's indicate drive activity and drive faults and are piped to the front of each hotswap drive carrier. During system boot, the LED's may indicate a drive fault for one or more of the HDD's, even if a drive is not installed in the drive bay. This issue occurs intermittently and is not an actual HDD functional failure, only a false indication.
