Drives Marked Offline [PDF]

RAID array drives may be marked as "failed" or "offline" as the result of various errors or failures. This condition may result in an operating system error message or the condition may be noted during reboot when the RAID controller and volume information is displayed during POST.

Customers are advised to read this Technical Advisory in its entirety before taking any actions to correct a potentially-failed RAID volume.
