The Message "No video available" Displays on Remote Control Console

Symptom(s):
The message "No video available" may display on remote control console when display resolution is set to 1024x768 with a display refresh rate other than exactly 60Hz.

Cause:
The remote console requires a display setting of 1024x768@60Hz in the blade server operating system.

Solution:

Set the refresh rate to 60Hz in the blade server operating system. To set the refresh rate:

In Red Hat* or SuSE* Linux:
Modify the /etc/X11/XF86Config file. In the Monitor section, change the value of VertRefresh to 60, as show in these sample lines:
        Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "Monitor0"
        VendorName "AutoDetected"
        ModelName "AutoDetected"
        HorizSync 30.0 - 70.0
        VertRefresh 60.0
        Option "DPMS"
    EndSection
Save the file and restart X.
