TA-845: System Software Updates Requirement to Support Future Processors [PDF]

As support for the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5300 sequence is added to the Intel BIOS, firmware and FRUSDR software, upgrades must occur in a certain order to ensure a valid system stack.

Please review the Technical Advisory carefully to successfully complete the system update process for the affected Intel® Server Boards.
