The Intel® RAID Controller SRCSASJV, SRCSASRB and SRCSATAWB are designed to adhere to the PCI Express Specification, Revision 1.0a. But they are incompatible with PCI Express Specification, Revision 2. So if you installed the SRCSASJV, SRCSASRB or SRCSATAWB into PCI-E Gen 2 slot, the system will fail to detect the controller. To enable hardware RAID support with PCI-E Gen 2 slot, please use Intel® RAID Controller SRCSAS18E or SRCSAS144E.
