Solution:
- Optimal: The operating condition of the drive is good. All configured physical drives in the array are online.
- Degraded: The operating condition of the drive is not optimal. One of the configured drives in the array has failed or has been removed.
- Failed: The drive has failed, cannot be rebuilt, and cannot operate in a degraded state.
- Offline: The drive is not available.
