TA-635-1: BIOS Flash Chip Not Protected

Intel engineering was able to determine that the Intel® Carrier Grade Server onboard flash chip is not protected from inadvertent writes which may cause possible BIOS corruption to occur. If the flash chip becomes corrupted, customers may or may not be able to recover the BIOS using the BIOS Recovery process.
