The Intel® Server Platform SPSH4 / SRSH4 supports the Intel® Xeon® MP Processors with speeds up to 3.0Ghz.

Use the Identifying Your Processor web page for detailed specs on your Intel® Xeon® MP processor.

Note: The black plastic processor retention modules that ship with the boxed Intel® Xeon® MP processors are not approved for use on Intel® Server Platform SPSH4/SRSH4 platforms. However, Intel ships a replacement retention module with every Intel® Server Platform SPSH4/SRSH4.
Please use the retention modules that come with Intel® Server Platform SPSH4/SRSH4.

In a multi processor configuration, Intel requires that the same processor speed, cache size, system bus speed and stepping be used. Mixing processor speeds is not a supported or a recommended configuration.
