Intel® has recently determined that OS level RAID management utilities used with onboard RAID capable components
have not been distributed. Without the OS level RAID utilities installed, the user will not be made aware of drive failures
and other potential problems because the drivers for the Promise* ATA and the Silicon Image* SATA RAID controllers
do not have this alerting drive failure capability built in. When installed, an OS level RAID management utility will
periodically check the array for status, and provide user notification when any abnormal conditions exist.
