Tested Power Supply List

By clicking on a link below you can view either the EPS12V tested power supply list or EPS2U tested power supply list. It is important to choose the proper power supply size and power for your application. Evaluations for any individual system configuration are considered the responsibility of the integrator and/or system OEM.

EPS12V Tested Power Supply List
This power supply is intended to use primarily with the SSI form factor baseboards in the entry-level general purpose chassis. The power supply form factor is stretch PS/2, with connector/cable assemblies required for the motherboard power, remote sensing and control functions, and peripheral power. These power supplies range from 400 to 550 Watts in total output power and is used in a non-redundant configuration. You can view the entire EPS12V power supply design guide.

EPS2U Tested Power Supply List
This power supply is intended to use primarily with the SSI form factor baseboards in the front-end 2U rack chassis. It is similar to the EPS12V but is shorter in height to fit in the 2U and longer in depth to generate similar total output power. This power supply may range typically from 400 to 550 watts and is used in a non-redundant configuration. You can view the entire EPS2U power supply design guide.

EPS1U Tested Power Supply List (coming soon)
This power supply is intended to use primarily with the SSI form factor baseboards in the front-end 1U rack chassis. It is similar to the EPS2U but is shorter in height to fit in the 1U and usually generate less total output power. This form factor power supply defines two power delivery options -- wire-harness for lower cost or edge card for improved air flow in the 1U chassis. This power supply may range typically from 250 to 400 watts and is used in a non-redundant configuration. You can view the entire EPS1U power supply design guide.

CAUTION: Failure to use a power supply with the proper amperage ratings for the Intel® Xeon® Processor, or not connecting all power supply leads to the baseboard may result in damage to the baseboard and/or power supply.

Power supply model numbers may vary slightly. Check with your preferred power supply vendor or distributor to ensure Intel Xeon Processor support.

The testing information is provided as a guide for the reseller in choosing chassis products that are compatible with the Intel® Server Board SCB2. The reseller is encouraged to test the chassis products in specific configurations.
