The Intel® Workstation Cooling Kit (APT2WKTCOOLKIT) is a retrofit thermal solution for the Intel® Entry Server Chassis SC5275-E when using the Intel® Server Board SE7320SP2 and SE7525GP2. The kit is designed for one processor. Two complete kits will be necessary for a dual-processor configuration.
Do not install the Intel® Workstation Cooling Kit in a system containing a passive (no fan) thermal solution. It is recommended that you use the thermal solution that is provided with the Intel® Workstation Cooling.
Components provided with the Intel® Workstation Cooling Kit (APT2WKTCOOLKIT) includes:
- Fan
- Fan Bracket
- Heatsink (with Thermal Interface Material)
- and Four Screws
Note: The kit comes complete with a heatsink and fan. Remove any existing heatsink and fan with the processor. Also, if you are using the Intel® Entry Server Chassis SC5275-E, be sure to remove the plastic air duct.
