Important Information about 2GB Memory Modules Support:
The Intel® Server Board SE7500CW2 has been designed to support up to 8 GB of memory using 2-GB memory modules. To date,
Intel have not been able to complete 2-GB memory validation using these parts. Therefore, 2-GB modules are
not currently supported by this server board. Currently, the maximum memory supported by this board is 4 GB.
The memory module on the Intel® Server Board SE7500CW2 has 4 DIMM sockets, which can hold up to 4 GB of Registered ECC DDR200 or DDR266 memory using four 72-bit DIMM modules. The following memory features are supported:
- DDR200 and DDR266 registered ECC compatible 2.5V modules (in compliance with the DDR JEDEC DIMM Specification).
- DIMMs with capacity of 128MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, and 1G. Other DRAM sizes may function correctly but will not be validated.
- Minimum configuration is 256MB using two 128MB DIMM.
