Intel® Server Board SE7500WV2
Other Devices Under Device Manager Seen in Microsoft Windows* 2000

After installing Microsoft Windows* 2000 on the Intel® Server Board SE7500WV2 and Intel® Server Board SE7501WV2, under device manager, there are some Unknown Devices installed.

Device Manager


The ESG-SHV SCA HSBP M15 SCSI Processor Device refers to the Hotswap SCSI Backplane (HSBP) of the Intel® Server Chassis SR2300 or the Intel® Server Chassis SR1300 chassis.

Note: You will only see this if you are using an Intel Chassis.


The two Ethernet Controller unknown devices refer to the on-board Network Card PRO/1000 Adapter. Please follow the instructions on how to install the drivers.
The unknown PCI Device and System Interrupt Controller refers to the Intel® E7500/E7501 Chipset.
