The Intel® Server Board SHG2 is designed to support Intel® Xeon® Processors with a 400 MHz system bus speed and 512KB of L2 cache.

Important information when integrating an Intel® Server Board SHG2 on an Intel® Server Chassis SC5200-HSRP:

The Processor Wind Tunnel (PWT) parts are not required for systems using the Server Chassis SC5200 Hot-Swap, Redundant Power 650W Server Chassis (HSRP), which incorporates a different cooling solution.

Boxed Processors shipped with a 1U heat sink are not designed for use in the Server Chassis SC5200 chassis, or third party 2U and larger chassis; use of a 1U heat sink in these chassis may void the processor warranty.

In a dual processor configuration, Intel requires that the same processor speed, cache size, system bus speed and stepping be used. Mixing processor speeds is not a supported or a recommended configuration.
