Each memory module on the Intel® SRPM8 MP Server Platform has 16 DIMM sockets, which can hold up to 16GB of ECC memory
using 16 72-bit dual inline memory modules, a total of 32GB using two memory modules. The following memory features are supported:
- 100 MHz, PC-100 compatible 3.3V registered SDRAM modules (in compliance with the PC-100 Registered DIMM Specification, Revision 1.2)
- DIMMs with capability of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB.
- Other DRAM sizes may function correctly but will not be validated.
- Minimum configuration of 128MB using one 128MB DIMM.
This document lists DIMM devices known to be compatible with the SRPM8 MP Server Platform.
