Symptom(s):
The Recovery CD does not recognize computers configured as members of a domain.
Cause:
When a computer is created or added to a domain, the computer name is appended with the ".DomainName.Net" extension. The original version of the Recovery CD does not recognize the appended extension.
Solution:
Download and use the latest version of the Recovery CD. Version b356, or later, of the Recovery CD resolves the issue with the "dot" domain extension seen on the original version of the Recovery CD where a computer is a member of a domain.
