The default Intel® Entry Storage System SS4000-E administrator user name and password for the Web User Interface utility access is:
Username: admin
Password: storage
You can reset the storage system to use its original administrator user name and password by pressing the reset button on the back of the storage system noted as "G" in the diagram below:
Note: A reset returns the system to the default network setting of DHCP. With no DHCP server present, it uses the default IP address of 192.168.0.101. If you configured the system to use a static IP address, you will need to change the IP address configuration.
For information about changing these settings, see “Changing the Network Settings” in the User Guide.
In addition, pressing this button restarts the storage system, which might adversely affect user connections to shared folders. Be sure to do this only when users are not connected to shared folders or performing recovery.
Shared folder and user configurations will not be reset, or deleted by resetting the system to factory defaults.
