Ensure that you use only an approved USB hub, floppy disk or CD-ROM when installing operating systems. A CD install of the Microsoft Windows 2003* or Windows Storage Server* operating system may not be able to properly load RAID drivers due to issues with nonsupported USB peripherals. Refer to the Tested Hardware and Operating Systems List for a list of supported hardware and operating systems. An approved USB hub, floppy disk and CD-ROM spare is available from Industry Education’s* pay-for-spares online store.
