Intel recently discovered a thermal issue with the Intel® PRO/1000MT Quad Port Gigabit Server Adapter add-in card listed in the Intel® Storage System SSR212MA Tested Hardware and Operating System List (THOL), revision 1.5.
The issue has been root caused to insufficient chassis air flow to and around the Intel® PRO/1000MT Quad Port Gigabit Server Adapter add-in card, resulting in several components thermal specifications being exceeded.
