If your SSR212MA system is running SAN/iQ software revision 6.6, do NOT delete RAID configuration from the RAID BIOS Console! Always use the Storage System Console (SSC) to configure RAID. If you need to reset RAID configuration, do a factory reset via the serial link.
After deleting RAID configuration from the RAID BIOS Console in the SSR212MA system, the system can no longer be accessed, both through SSC connection or through the serial link. The system will boot up normally and respond to pings from the network. However, it cannot be accessed through the SSC software. When trying to connect through the serial link you will get following error message: "Error opening a connection".
There is currently no workaround for this issue. If you have encountered this issue already, please contact Intel Customer Support.
