The Intel® Storage Server SSR212MC2 and SSR212MC2R use the Intel® Server Board S5000PSL.
A server board received through warranty replacement may not have the correct BIOS, BMC and FRU/SDR loaded for the SSR212MC2 system. The SSR212MC2 is manufactured as a complete system and is validated with specific BIOS, BMC and FRU/SDR versions.
If a server board is replaced, Intel advises installing the appropriate BIOS, BMC and FRU/SDR version for the SSR212MC2.
Thermal, Enclosure Management and performance issues may occur without the correct BIOS and firmware.
