System Requirements for the Core Server

• Recommends a dedicated system, it cannot be a Primary/Backup Domain Controller or Active Directory Controller
• Microsoft Windows 2000* (SP4) or Microsoft Windows* 2003 (SP1)
• the software must be installed on a NTFS partition
• administrator privileges during install
• SNMP Service installed
• Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
• Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 or higher
• Internet Information Services (IIS) installed with ASP .NET
• Microsoft* Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or higher
• 200MB on system drive and 900MB on at least one drive
• Page file should be at least 12MB + RAM size
• Cannot have a previous version of LANDesk* Agents installed
• A reboot/restart is required after installation
• Java* Runtime Engine^† version 1.4.2.10 or later, required if using Intel® Management Module-Advanced Edition
• Macromedia* Flash Player 8.x^† or later

Note: Macromedia Flash players are not currently available for browsers on 64-bit operating systems. If you install the Intel Active System Console on a device running a 64-bit OS, you need to install a 32-bit browser to run Flash and view the console.
