Intel® Priority Packet
Differences between Priority Packet I, Priority Packet II and Priority Packet 3

Intel® Priority Packet I supports prioritization on the network using the IEEE 802.1p standard, and internally via Priority Queuing.

Intel® Priority Packet II supports these technologies, and also supports IP ToS (Type of Service) Layer 3 Tagging - supporting both Differentiated Services Codepoint (DSCP) and Legacy IP Precedence in Windows NT.* 4.0, Windows* 98 SE and Windows* Me.

Intel® Priority Packet III provides the same features as Priority Packet II in Windows* 2000 and Windows* XP.
