The Intel® PRO/100+ PCI adapter and the Intel® PRO/100B PCI adapters do not come with a flash chip / boot ROM built in. If you need to add PXE pre-boot services to these adapters, you will need to obtain a compatible 64K flash chip and insert it into the flash chip socket on the adapter. Then download the latest version of the Intel® Boot Agent and follow the included instructions to load the boot agent into the flash chip.
