EtherExpress™ PRO/100 Mobile 32-bit CardBus
Compatibility with Toshiba's DeskStation V+*

Issue
Using various laptops that are compatible with the Toshiba DeskStation V+*, the EtherExpress™ PRO/100 Mobile CardBus adapter fails to function while installed in the docking station and running Windows* 95. The drivers load correctly, but no network can be found.

The docking station contains 2 CardBus sockets. These sockets do not function correctly with Windows 95 or Windows 95 OSR2.

Solutions

  • Use the CardBus Sockets built into the laptop.

  • The EtherExpress PRO/100 Mobile adapter 16-bit PC card functions correctly in the docking station.

  • Use an EtherExpress PCI or ISA adapter in the docking station.
