Notes and Known Issues
Unexpected reboot on driver update If a direct Cache Access (DCA)-capable device has registered with the QuickData driver to perform DCA, the driver will not unload. When the QuickData driver is updated, the operating system will force a reboot.
Bug checks and system instability when passing traffic with misconfigured Jumbo Packets setting If you are experiencing bug checks or system instability when passing traffic, please check your Jumbo Packet settings. If Jumbo Packets are not configured correctly, a mis-sized packet may be sent to the affected system. This results in the bug checks and system instability.
Uninstall does not uninstall driver When the drivers are uninstalled on Microsoft Windows Vista* or Windows Server 2008, the operating system immediately re-installs the in-box drivers. This will cause a number to be appended to the device's displayed name.
Driver not available in Windows Server 2008 Preinstall Environment Intel adapters that do not support Windows Vista also do not support the Windows Server 2008 Preinstall Environment. See Adapter compatibility and feature support for Windows Vista for a list of devices not supported in Windows Vista.
