Intel(R) PROSet is Now Integrated into Windows* Device Manager

On Windows* 2000 and later Microsoft OSs, Intel has integrated their PROSet configuration utility into Windows* Device Manager. You will no longer access PROSet from its tray icon or control panel as a separate utility. The icon will be deleted as part of the upgrade and there will be no PROSet entry in control panel.

Intel® PROSet for Windows* Device Manager will now be accessed through Windows* Device Manager. To access Device Manager:

  • Right-click My Computer and click Properties, the Hardware tab, and then Device Manager.
  • Right-click My Computer, click Manage, and then Device Manager in the Computer Management tree
