A complete, clear problem report (with a test case, if necessary) helps us diagnose the problem and get a solution to you quickly.
For Example: The linker error occurred when I built an application using the Intel® Math Kernel Library.
Include exact error message: (FourierTest.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "void __cdecl vdsincos(int *,double const * const,double * const,double * const)" (?vdsincos@@YAXPAHQBNQAN2@Z) Release/TestReconstruction.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals
Include exact library names, machine environment and version numbers: I am linking mkl_c.lib and libguide.lib from the ia32 subdirectory and I am working on an Intel® Pentium® 4 processor machine using Microsoft Visual C++* .NET 2003, Intel® Math Kernel Library 8.0, Package ID: w_mkl_p_8.0.017
Include test cases if possible: Attached is the project file with source code, and it also includes compiler and linker options.
Additionally, please provide detailed development environment information.

Customer impact values include Low, Medium, High, and Showstopper--defined as follows (listed from least important to most important): - Low - An issue that has no significant adverse impact and is submitted on a for-your-information basis.
- Medium - An issue that does not stop work, however needs to be fixed.
- High - An issue with a short-term workaround, however needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
- Showstopper - An issue that prevents you from proceeding with your work.
