Complete the following steps to identify the current version of Intel Platform Administration Server:

1. Start server management console.
   1. From server Windows* desktop, click Start » Programs » Intel® Platform Administration Server » Server for i-Café V1.1 » Server Management to start the server management web console.

   

   
   
2. Intel® Platform Administration Server is the management console from which you manage the clients. After starting the management console, the user will enter the default page: Managed Clients

   

   
   
3. From the management console, click the Server Configuration link and view the field labeled Version.

   

Important Note: As Intel® Platform Administration updates are released, the server version information becomes important to ensure new features work properly. For example, the ability to support the Intel® Desktop Board D915PDT was first introduced in Intel® Platform Administration v1.1.0.198 (major version: 1.1, minor version: 198).

The version information is detected as a string in the following format. The string consists of the edition name, followed by numbers indicating version number (major version, zero, minor version).
Example: Professional Edition 1.1.0.523 (major version: 1.1, minor version: 523)
