Complete the following steps to identify the current version of Intel Platform Administration Agent:

1. Start the client, and press F2 to enter BIOS. The first tab is Manageability. In the Manageability page, verify the Agent field is set to Enable, as below:

   

   
   
2. The Intel® Platform Administration Agent is disabled in BIOS by default. To enable, highlight the Agent field, select Enable. (Press ENTER to confirm the selection, and press F10 to save and Exit). After being enabled, the client agent version information can be viewed during the boot process (see below).

   

The version information is detected as a string in the following format. The string consists of the edition name, followed by numbers indicating version number (major version, zero, minor version).
Example: Professional Edition 1.1.0.523 (major version: 1.1, minor version: 523)
