Intel® Pocket Concert™ Audio Player version 1.0 outside of North America:
You must update your player's firmware to version 1.1 and then run the FM Tuner Setup Utility to change the FM radio's frequency stepping. Refer to Software and Drivers for more information.
Intel® Pocket Concert™ Audio Player version 1.1 in Europe and Asia:
You will not be able to successfully tune in FM radio stations until you run the FM Tuner Setup program and select "Other" as your region.
Intel® Pocket Concert™ Audio Player version 1.1 in North America:
The FM Tuner Setup program is not installed with the North America version 1.1. The FM tuner is set to the North American standard of 200kHz steppings.
To run the FM Tuner Setup:
- Be sure you've installed the software as directed in the Quick Start Guide.
- Plug the player into the computer's USB port.
- Click Start » Programs » Intel Pocket Concert Audio Player » FM Tuner Setup.
- Select Other and click OK. Important: Do not select Europe.
Note: To identify your player version, when you turn on the player, look for the firmware version (V1.00 or V1.10) display briefly on the LCD.
